One year after Elvis' death, at the age of 10, Brad and
his family moved overseas to Hong Kong. Even in that part of the world, finding
Elvis records in the stores was not a problem. On the anniversary of his death,
Brad sat and listened as the only English speaking radio station devoted an
entire day to Elvis and his music.
Brad's interest in Elvis grew more and more over the years and while a senior in
high school, he entered a talent contest wearing a thrown together outfit and
painted on sideburns. Later on in college he entered another contest and then
was asked by a select few to do his "Elvis Impersonation" at a couple of small
parties.
After the first year or so in college, although his fascination of Elvis only
grew stronger, he hung up his jumpsuit and did not do any more impersonations.
Only within the last year or so Brad has started fulfilling a dream of sharing
with whomever wants to watch, his own tribute to the great Elvis Presley.
At this point in his life, he is a 15-year veteran police officer and a
full-time single father of a 11 yr old son. In-between the time demands of being
a father and public servant, he makes time to do what makes him happy.... paying
tribute to the King of Rock 'n' Roll.
Since getting serious about his Elvis Tribute, The Elvis Legacy, Brad has spent
countless hours making and decorating some of his own jumpsuits and belts,
practicing his vocals and performing his show for corporate events and private
parties. Brad stays busy with the many referrals he gets and is well on his way
to making a name for himself as an Elvis Tribute Artist.
Brad has also recently started making concert belts for
other tribute artists as well. Since starting this venture, Brad has
made belts for ETAs all over the United States, Canada, England, Germany.
Soon he will venture into making jumpsuits as well, specializing in the hard to
find fully embroidered suits.
